4 days June 20-23, 2023

Day 1 - We depart making our way to Nanton to the Bomber Command Museum.   After completing our guided tour of the museum, we sit down and enjoy lunch.   Continuing on our travels to Waterton with exceptional sights of clear lakes, thundering waterfalls, rainbow-colored streams, colourful rocks and mountain vistas, before arriving at our hotel we will make the drive through Red Rock canyon.  We will be spending the next three nights in this picturesque town.

See the source imageDay 2 - This morning after breakfast (included in your package) we make our way to Heritage Acres Farm Museum with its extensive collection of pioneer and farm related artifacts.  With lunch on your own in Pincher Creek we head over to Frank Slide interpretive and take in the Bellevue mine tour. Our night is completed with great food at the Generals Quarters before we head back to Waterton.

Day 3 -  A later start to the day today as mid morning we head over to the Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village to hear stories from southwestern Alberta’s history.  A hub of information with a country store and Canadian western Frontier village filled with intriguing artifacts. Our afternoon will entail a cruise on Waterton Lake, the world’s first international peace park. Discover the Jewel of the Rockies as we cruise along the shoreline of the upper Waterton Lake. Bring your camera and enjoy some of the most spectacular mountain scenery the Rocky Mountains have to offer. View majestic towering cliffs, unique geological formations, beautiful waterfalls, snow clad mountain peaks and the International Border.  This evening is yours to enjoy and take a few more picturesque images of Waterton.

Day 4 - Making our way back home today with lunch on your own in beautiful Bragg Creek before heading to Calgary to the Studio Bell centre National Music Museum.  Here we take the opportunity to see the breathtaking architecture, the Kimball theatre organ and dive into the evolving story of music in Canada celebrating the diverse voices of Canadian country music, indigenous trailblazers, and Canadian music Hall of Fame exhibition.  Expected time of arrival in Red Deer 6pm.
