July 18-21, 2021



Sunday July 18: We start our tour travelling to Vernon British Columbia. Making a stop in Golden for lunch (on your own). After lunch we sit back and relax taking in the beautiful scenery.  The drive would not be complete without a stop for ice cream at the Dutchman’s Dairy in Sicamous.  Arriving in picturesque Vernon where we will be staying for the next three nights.

Monday July 19: After enjoying your continental breakfast we will make our way to Gatzke’s Farm Market. Gatzke's Farm Market offers beautiful ripe, juicy tree fruit, garden-fresh organic produce, and specialty products unique to the Okanagan including gourmet jams, jellies and Grandma Gatzke's famous homemade pies.  This afternoon we experience the romance of a bygone era at the Kettle Valley Steam Railway.  Here we will enjoy a picnic lunch followed by the beautiful train ride in the Okanagan Valley.  A walk through the gorgeous Summerland Ornamental Gardens, more than a century old discover the flower beds, shrubs and heritage trees.  Our day is not complete as we take a dinner cruise on Okanagan Lake with views of vineyards and picture perfect shot of the cityscape illuminated by the glow of Kelowna’s lights.




Tuesday July 20: Another day filled with beautiful sights as we will take in the Swan Lake Market.  With plenty of local produce, bakery and deli favorites and one of the largest selections of plants throughout the Okanagan you will be sure to see a bounty of colors. This afternoon we will take a drive from Vernon to Salmon Arm and take in a Winery or two (dependant on COVID restrictions) the evening is yours to enjoy your fresh fruit and treats.





Wednesday July 21: A leisurely day driving back to Red Deer today stopping in Vernon to the Village Cheese.  With a lunch break in Revelstoke (on your own) we make our way back to Red Deer by approximately 6pm.
