July 18

We depart Red Deer to start our adventures heading towards Peace River.  With stops on the way at Drayton Valley for morning coffee then taking in the Mayerthorpe Fallen 4 Memorial park, we will continue on to Whitecourt for lunch before making our way to Peace River for the night.

July 19


 Our morning will explore around Peace River before heading to Grimshaw.  In Grimshaw we will stop for coffee and picture taking opportunity at the mile 0 sign.  Continuing on we stop in Manning where we have a lunch break before heading over to the Battle River Pioneer Museum.   Our next two nights will be spent in High Level

July 20


Enjoy the day exploring Ft. Vermillion and the Mennonite Heritage village.  After lunch we make our way back to High Level crossing the Lacrete ferry across the mighty Peace River. Back in High Level we explore the Mackenzie Crossroads Museum, providing you with information from the 1900’s to today.  The evening you have to yourself



                                       
July 21


An early start to the day will not disappoint you with the dramatically beautiful Alexandra and Louise Falls, the first of many stops today.  Continuing with picture taking opportunities we stop at the 60th parallel  for coffee .Travelling on we will come to the Angus Sinkhole where we will enjoy a picnic lunch and talk about the vast sinkhole.  With more picture taking opportunities we take in the Salt Plains lookout before arriving in Fort Smith for the night.

July 22

We will start our day at the Northern Life Museum & Cultural center with over 13,000 artifacts representing the people and history of the North.  With a lunch and coffee stop along the way we spend the night in Hay River, known as “the hub of the North”.

July 23

Our destination today is Yellowknife, the capital city of the Northwest Territories.  Our first stop of the day will be Lady Evelyn Falls.  The falls form a giant curtain of water as the Kakisa river spills over a limestone escarpment. Our evening brings us to Yellowknife where we will stay the next two nights.

July 24


Today we set sail with a boat cruise complete with BBQ fish fry on the Great Slave Lake. 
The afternoon is yours to explore
Yellowknife.




July 25

An exciting day as we take flight to Inuvik today where we will spend the next two nights.  Upon arriving in Inuvik we will have a tour of the town before making our way to the hotel.

July 26
a sightseeing filled day taking us to Tuktoyaktuk and the Artic ocean were we will have a village tour and visit to a cultural home complete with a traditional lunch.


July 27

A relaxing day as we fly back to Yellowknife spending another two nights giving us time to explore.

July 28


Today we start our day with a guided city tour of Yellowknife, a welcoming, inclusive and prosperous community with a strong sense of pride in their unique history, culture and natural beauty.  Our tour will also include some northern tea and Bannock as well as a stop at the NWT Diamond center. After lunch we will have a tour of Buffalo Air, a family runed airline based in Yellowknife.  Our afternoon will conclude with a tour of the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage center.    





July 29
Today our travels bring us closer to home, with lunch in Ft. Providence making our way to High Level tonight.

July 30

Homeward bound today taking breaks in Peace River for coffee and Valleyview for lunch.  Our last stop of the day will be Whitecourt before arriving back in Red Deer
