23 Days - September 11 - October 3, 2023



Enjoy the Fall Colours from Alberta to the Maritimes

 

Day 1 - We start our travels from Alberta to Saskatchewan making our way to Moose Jaw.
                           Staying at the Comfort Inn 306-692-2100

Day 2 - Today we start our day with a stop at the RCMP Heritage Centre. Here we will have a guided tour of the museum and training Academy.  After our tour we will enjoy lunch before making our way into Manitoba. We arrive in Brandon for a supper break along the way to Winnipeg  where we will spend the next two nights.

Day 3 - Today in Winnipeg we start our day with a guided city tour seeing the sights of Manitoba's capital.  You will have some free time for lunch at the Forks and take in the market before going to the Royal Canadian Mint for a guided tour. This evening will be free time to relax and enjoy the casino if you choose.




 
Day 4 - After enjoying the drive through the prairies we make our way into Ontario stopping in Dryden for lunch.  After viewing the suspension bridge at Wabigoon River where you can walk across the 34 meter suspension bridge to see the rapids. We continue on to Thunder Bay where we will check into our hotel and you can enjoy supper on your own in the hotels restaurant.

Day 5 - When leaving Thunder Bay we stop at the Terry Fox Monument a 9 foot bronze statue to commemorate his Courageous cross-Canada run during his battle with cancer. This is just kilometers from where Terry Fox ended his marathon of hope. Our lunch stop today will be in Terrace Bay located on the north shore of Lake Superior. Traveling along Lake Superior we make our way to Wawa for a break and some picture taking of the goose statue. We end our day in Sault Ste Marie the city on St. Mary’s river.

Day 6 – Today we travel along the North Channel making our way from Sault Ste Marie to Espanola. Here we have an early lunch before continuing on to Perry Sound.  We will take a plleasurable dinner cruise with Parry Sound Cruise lines.  After dinner we will overnight in Parry Sound.

Day 7 – Today takes us to picturesque Niagara Falls. Our first visit is Toronto CN Tower, where we will have lunch (included in your tour) and take in the spectacular view.   Back down on ground level we continue on our way to Niagara Falls.

Day 8 – We spend the day in Niagara Falls starting with a look of the falls from the river aboard the Hornblower. After enjoying the view of the falls from water level we will take in the view from the top of the Skylon Tower. At the top of the tower we will have a group lunch in the revolving restaurant getting a 360 degrees look at Niagara Falls.  After lunch the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore at your leisure.



 Day 9 - We start the day with a tour at the Welland Canal Centre.  Tonight we stop in Perth for a supper break before making our way to Ottawa for the next two nights.

Day 10 - Our day starts with a guided city tour of Ottawa.  We will have an early lunch before embarking on Parliament Hill where we have a guided tour. We will then end our day with a cruise on the Rideau Canal. Tonight you will have an evening to yourself in Ottawa.





Day 11 - We leave the province of Ontario today crossing into Quebec, traveling to Quebec City where we will have a guided city tour.  This evening is free time in Old Quebec city where you can enjoy supper and explore.

Day 12 – A free morning to rest and relax before we take you back to Old Quebec City to check out the shops and sights you missed the day before. Tonight we make our way to Erabliere Du Lac Sugar Shack. Here we have a tour and demonstration of their maple syrup farm, and enjoy supper (included in your package) before making our way back to the hotel.




Day 13 - Leaving Quebec we make our way to New Brunswick stopping in Edmunston for lunch, then on to the worlds longest covered bridge in Hartland, for picture opportunities. Tonight we will be in Fredericton for one night.

 Day 14 - In Fredericton we start the day with a guided city tour before making our way to Kings Landing Historical Settlement. Here we  have a guided tour followed by lunch and some free time (lunch is included in your tour package). Later we make our way to Magnetic hill for nature’s magic trick before checking in to our hotel in Moncton.  The evening is yours to have  supper and take in the casino if you choose.

 Day 15 - Another full day of adventures as we make our way to the Hopewell Rocks. Time to view exhibits with a guided tour and a walk on the ocean floor. We then make our way to Shediac for lunch and pictures with the largest lobster statue. We will be staying in Charlottetown for two nights and have the treat tonight of the New Glasgow Lobster dinner.

 Day 16 - Today we explore the North loop of PEI making a stop at PEI Preserves before heading to Green Gables for a guided tour.  Enjoy the beautiful scenery of northern PEI as we make our way back to Summerside for supper.  Once back in Charlottetown you will have the evening to yourself.


Day 17 - In Charlottetown this morning we have a guided tour of the city, then time to enjoy lunch on your own. This afternoon we board the Northumberland Ferry from PEI to Nova Scotia.
 After docking we make our way to Baddeck for a night stay. Enjoy   a group supper which is included in your package.

 Day 18 - It's off to explore the spectacular Cabot Trail with stops in Magaree Salmon Museum, Cheticamp Flora’s gift shop, Pleasant Bay and Ingenist before returning to the hotel in Sydney.

 Day 19 - After a restful night we head towards Port Hastings area for a lunch break before arriving at the famous Tidal bore. The next two nights we will be in Halifax

Day 20 - In Halifax our day starts with a guided city tour exploring all the sights including Citadel hill.  This afternoon and evening will be yours to explore Halifax at your leisure.





 
Day 21 - We leave Halifax today traveling to the picturesque Peggy's Cove stopping at the Lighthouse and Peggy's Cove Village. We will have a group lunch in Lunenburg which is included in your package. Late this afternoon board the Fundy Rose ferry from Digby to St.John. Dinner on board the ship. There are three restaurants on board for your dinning needs. Arriving in Saint John we go directly to our hotel where we will spend two nights.

Day 22 - In Saint John we start with a guided city tour showing the sights of this New Brunswick city. Afterlunch a harbor cruise to tour the reversing falls before making our way back to the hotel.
This evening will be our farewell group supper where we can all discuss our fun filled days of travels and the many sights we took in.

Day 23 - Homeward bound today we board our flight home to Alberta.
